1. Timers on traffic lights – I mean that just makes sense.
2. Nap areas at work – I haven’t tried it out yet but I really need to.
3. Love for Bolognese – At their main takeaway outlet, you have two choices of chicken or bolognese. The dish is everywhere.
4. Road markings are just suggestions – I have had my driver on the other side of the road because it had a better gap, you can do a U-turn on an expressway and scooters just zoom past you on the footpath when the traffic is backed up.
5. Everything is open until 10pm – cafes, bakeries, absolutely everything!
6. Kids here drink a lot of milk – my coworker explained that kids are told to drink lots of milk each day as people think that the calcium will help them grow taller. The population is very short here, and this is how they hope they will be able to change it.
7. You can hire the fire department to wash your windows. For those tall buildings, it’s very common to get them to hose them down.
