Hey guys! I’m Teresa, a New Zealand-born Taiwanese and currently in my second year in the Bachelor of Health majoring in Biomedical Science.

This is not my first time abroad as I have been travelling between NZ and Taiwan in the past, but this is my first ever exchange experience.

I have decided to have a global experience because I wanted to challenge myself to become a more independent person and get a wider worldview. I am also looking forward to meeting new friends and experiencing what it’s like to be living in the US accommodation halls.

I will be going to UC Berkeley in the US and I have decided to choose this destination because it’s such a big country with tons of diversity within every aspect, so I feel like I can get to meet lots of different people with totally different personalities and backgrounds.
