My name is Fletcher Ferguson and I am studying towards a Bachelor of Business Majoring in Economics and Strategic Management. I have just begun my semester in Phoenix! This is not my first time abroad, but my first time in the United States of America. I am studying abroad to meet new people, gain new experiences and challenge myself by immersing myself in a different culture. I am interested to know what going to school in the United States is all about and if their methods of teaching differ from that in NZ. I chose the United States because I am interested in their way of life and how their colleges operate. I also chose the United States because I am interested in sports and exploring many famous tourist destinations. I chose Phoenix specifically because Arizona State University has a great Business programme, costs were lower compared to that of colleges in California & the golf in Phoenix is second to none.
