I have now been in Phoenix studying at ASU for one month. I have loved my first few weeks here. Highlights include meeting new people, playing sports, travelling to Chicago and Seattle. I am lucky enough to have my classes from Tuesday to Thursday so that I can travel Friday-Monday. I have a few more trips coming up including Los Angeles, Grand Canyon, LAS VEGAS and New York. I also look forward to reconnecting with some friends in the U.S. as the trip goes on.

A usual school day (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) consists of busing 20 minutes to ASU for 2 or 3 classes each day. While on campus I will also go to the fitness centre, access is fortunately included in our student fees. At the fitness centre, I can lift massive weights, play sports (basketball, squash, racquetball, football, spikeball, badminton) at no charge, swim and run on the indoor track. Between my classes, I will also go to the library or seek free tutoring help to keep on top of my studies. Most evenings I will attend a club sports evening where I can meet people and be active all at no marginal cost. Dinners are often homemade, although when I am feeling naughty I will get a Chick-fil-A or in-and-out burger.
