A few years ago I stumbled upon a festival that happens in Tilburg every year, which is an hour and a half away from Maastricht, so I knew I had to make the journey and experience this festival. It is called RedHead Days, where redheads from across the world meet and have lots of fun, a pretty simple but surreal concept in my eyes. 

I was initially nervous mainly because I was alone and I didn’t know what to expect but once I arrived it was all smiles and laughs. It was odd seeing so many gingers in one place but the whole thing was jokes to me, I absolutely loved it.  

There were lots of events and things going on throughout the day and weekend that you could participate in but the main event was the group photo where we all came together. This was the moment when I realised how many redheads there actually were at this festival, which was a crazy amount! 

Overall I really enjoyed my time there, it was so cool to see so many people who have something in common come together and celebrate. If there are any redheads out there, I highly recommend going to this festival at some point in your life, you will fit in perfectly!
