It has been a wild ride on this exchange. I have been able to catch up with many old friends and family while on this trip and make a whole bunch of new ones from all over the world. In fact, I am spending the new year in Amsterdam with the Dutch friends I made.

The quality of the university here in Glasgow is second to none and the people I have met and the experiences I have had are something out of this world. For anyone looking to go on an exchange, please do it, as it’s something you will never forget. Thank you to the Waikato Global Experiences team for making this happen.

I did this trip with a close mate of mine from New Zealand which was awesome as we shared the experience together so I would recommend doing the exchange with an original friend too!!
