What a start to the year, flying from 26-degree weather into negative 10!! It’s been a chilly start to my first few weeks in Ottawa, definitely a change, but I’m enjoying every day of snow so far ❄️

This being my first experience away from my family and friends, it was a tough adjustment, but I knew once I got through those first few days missing home, I wouldn’t regret my decision. Calling my family every day at first definitely helped me to settle in, but now I’ve met friends, have university to focus on, am exploring until I drop and am having the best time.

The cold days do get to you but it’s all the more to love Ottawa as the snow makes it even more beautiful. Can’t wait for all the more exploring to come!
