The semester flew by, and before I knew it, spring break was here! This time, I decided to shake things up and head to New Orleans with friends for a five-day getaway. Coming from the wide-open spaces of Montana, diving into the vibrant streets of Louisiana was an exciting change.

New Orleans offered us a rich mix of culture and history, and we found ourselves drawn to the lively French Quarter. From the bustling nightlife to the talented street performers, every corner was a new adventure. And let’s not forget about the amazing food, like delicious po’boys and irresistible beignets.

One highlight was a jazz cruise along the Mississippi River. We sailed from daylight into a stunning sunset, ending the evening with the city lights twinkling against the night sky, all while enjoying live music. Another memorable experience was exploring Frenchman Street, with its live music venues and vibrant atmosphere.

Overall, our spring break was an unforgettable experience, and I’m stoked I got to experience such a culturally rich part of the USA.
