Only 5 more weeks of this amazing experience where I’ve met so many people and made so many memories. It’s going to be so sad saying goodbye to everyone who I’ve become so close with. I will for sure travel around the world one day and visit everyone I’ve met in Japan again. A lot of my friends are even coming over to New Zealand after Japan to stay with me and look around New Zealand.

I have also really been enjoying University life at KGU. The University is so beautiful and I’m so lucky to be able to attend the Uni every day to study. The teachers are super nice and I enjoy the papers I’m taking. The Japanese students are also very friendly here and approach us a lot as they want to practice and improve their English too. I’ve made a lot of Japanese friends here and tend to go shopping with them a lot, as they show me the best places to thrift.

I’m so grateful to be able to do an overseas exchange to Japan as it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Me and my friends have a few more trips planned before leaving, so we’re looking forward to those.
