Ottawa is a pretty safe place to live. There are some places that are safer than others. But compared to Hamilton it’s pretty similar, despite being a major city. Canadians are nice people and their cities are quite clean and safe. If you’re ever lost or need help, the people of Ottawa are kind and helpful. Ottawa is definitely a place to go if you want to be in a big city, but it has a chill, friendly vibe.
