Kia ora! I’m Joel, a first-year student at the University of Waikato, studying a Bachelor of Global Studies with a double major in Global Markets and Marketing. I’ve chosen to go on exchange to Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan, with the support of the Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia. I’m excited to immerse myself in a different culture, gain a global perspective, and continue learning the Japanese language!
