Hello! My name is Phoebe and this is now my second year at Waikato studying in the Bachelor of Social Sciences.

I started university because of my love of sociology and the social sciences, which is what led me to applying to the Waikato Exchange Program. Not only do I love travelling, I love learning and being apart of different societies. The exchange is an amazing opportunity for me to indulge in what I love.
I specifically chose Maastricht University in the Netherlands because of their wide range of students from all around the world. But what made me stick with my choice is their Problem-Based Learning style. Suffering with learning difficulties like I do, I am overly excited to be given a chance to improve my learning and my work through this incredibly helpful learning style. I can only hope that out of this I can gain further knowledge into sociology and gain a new experience in life. I want my work and education to go further all whilst doing something I love.
