My name is Olivia Bailey and I am in my 4th year of a law degree. For the last three and a half years, I have done a large portion of my studies online from my home in Raglan. I chose to apply for exchange to further my personal growth as an individual through cultural enrichment and diversify my legal studies as a whole. I am excited for the opportunity to have an adventure and learn about a different culture and way of life as well and have enjoyed previous travels around South East Asia.

I chose Spain because I have always wanted to travel to Europe and feel it will be a great opportunity to learn about a legal system and culture that is very different to the one in New Zealand. I hope to be able to contrast legal systems and societies and grow as an individual to eventually return with knowledge and experience that I can carry into my future. It will be a big step out of my comfort zone as I have never been away from family for longer than a month but I am excited for the challenge and the experience.
