A Law exchange experience in historic Liverpool

By Rose Crosbie

Hi! My name is Rose, and I have chosen to spend my final semester studying my Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at the University of Liverpool, in the UK. I decided to embark on an exchange because it is a once in a life time opportunity! I have chosen Liverpool, as I am especially entranced by the city’s old world architecture and rich history.

From my trimester exchange, I hope to broaden my legal education and skills by gaining a multifaceted understanding of the law in different contexts. I think that it will be particularly interesting to study the English jurisdiction and observe some of the corelations to the New Zealand legal system. I am also keen to learn more about international law within the UK and European regions.
