I am currently in my second year of studying a double major of Ecology and Biodiversity, and Environmental Science.
I was initially set to spend my exchange in Santa Barbara, California. I was excited by the prospect of American life and getting to experience it right next to the ocean, something I thought was perfect for my academic and personal interests. However, due to immigration changes and rising political challenges, it was with a heavy heart that I decided it was best to look at other options. Thanks to the amazing global exchange team for their support and working some magic; I was able to get a late application in to the University of Lancaster.

Although Lancaster was not my first choice, or the UK even being on my radar, I am incredibly grateful to still experience going on exchange. Regardless of my destination, this amazing opportunity will give me the chance to discover new and interesting perspectives. My new adventure to the UK will expose me to all sorts of new cultures where I know I will meet some amazing people, all the while learning valuable knowledge and experiencing something totally unforgettable. So here is to making the most of it!
