Hello, I’m Peyton, and I grew up in Waikato. I’m a second-year student at the University of Waikato, studying for a Bachelor of Communications with a major in Public Relations.

My brother introduced me to the idea of going on an exchange and encouraged me to apply. It sounded like an amazing way to explore new places, embrace adventure, and grow more independent. I’m especially eager to experience life in a different culture and discover more about myself along the way.

I’ll be studying at the University of Ottawa in Canada. Canada has always been high on my travel bucket list; its natural beauty, friendly people, and vibrant culture appealed to me. When the opportunity for exchange came up, it was an easy decision.

During my time abroad, I’m looking forward to making new connections, trying new things, and making the most of every opportunity that comes my way. I’m excited to return with new experiences, fresh perspectives, and a deeper understanding of the world and myself.
