Ko Te Kiriwai tōku ingoa. He uri au nō Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa, Ngāti Apa, me Ngāi Tahu hoki. I’m a third-year Social Science student majoring in History and minoring in Te Reo Māori. This August I’ll be heading to UC Berkeley to begin my semester long exchange.

I’ve always wanted to live overseas, and I thought the university’s exchange program would be the perfect chance for this. I landed on UC Berkeley because they have a great history program and I’ve always wanted to visit San Francisco. I’m excited to get a taste of the American lifestyle, with the added bonus of going to see some Golden State Warriors games.
