I chose to go on exchange as I wanted to open up my world view and challenge myself by going outside my comfort zone, it’s sort of a once in a lifetime experience to study off shore from New Zealand. I chose Wilmington, North Carolina as it’s a smaller city, however, close to places I want to visit such as New York, Florida and New Jersey, it’s also coastal and has great surf destinations along the east coast.

The institution has a wide range of business papers available which I believe are easily transferable back to my degree as well as strong university culture. I hope to grow during my exchange, become more confident, and make life-long memories and hopefully learn about myself and potentially develop my career trajectory.
