Student Life at Strathclyde

For me, it has been a great move to the university and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. I have found that to meet new people you need to be actively involved in university activities such as clubs or sports. Also taking the opportunity to say hello and start conversations with new people has also worked. Settling in at Cardiff

I’m already into my second week of classes and am really loving it so far. It has been strange to set up in a completely new country where I don’t know anyone but it has been super easy to make friends in my classes, and the pre-semester workshops that my University provides have been amazing at finding new people. Exploring the UK

I was very excited to leave New Zealand as I had a lot of things to look forward to. In the first few weeks of arriving, I had gone to Wales for a wedding, Wolverhampton for a football match, up Ben Nevis the tallest mountain in the UK, and down to Cornwall to compete at the British surf lifesaving championships.
