I chose to go on an exchange because I love travelling and exploring new places and cultures! I went backpacking last year and I definitely caught the travel bug, and I can’t wait to go off on another adventure. I can’t imagine a better opportunity to live in another country while studying. I chose the University of California because I would love to experience a large student culture. Specifically, San Francisco has beautiful beaches and a vibrant music scene. I think Americans have lots of cool traditions that would be fun to experience. I hope to meet lots of new people and explore some of the USA!
