Hi! I’m Hannah, a third-year Bachelor of Design student majoring in Communication Design.
I chose to go on exchange because I wanted to experience a different part of the world and challenge myself with a new adventure.
I decided to study in the UK because I wanted to be based in Europe while still studying in English (My Duolingo lessons definitely aren’t good enough for me to study in another language!) I also needed to find a university that offered a strong range of design courses. That combination led me to Lancaster University, which has some amazing design modules available for exchange students.
From my exchange experience, I hope to learn more about myself, become more confident, and grow both personally and creatively. I’m especially looking forward to meeting new people, experiencing a different university culture, and making the most of the opportunities that come with living overseas for a semester. I am also looking forward to learning from a new group of people, both academically and personally.
I’m excited to share my journey, travels, and experiences throughout my exchange, and I can’t wait to see what the next few months bring!
